a Unique Chepstow Restaurant

Enjoy a Memorable Meal

Imagine flavoursome Italian home-cooking washed down with a cheerful Chianti in a charming setting which was immortalised on canvas by renowned Romantic painter, JMW Turner in 1794.

You’ll find exactly that, waiting to nourish your body, soul and senses, at Panevino – our family-run restaurant situated in a Grade II listed building on Bridge Street in the picturesque town of Chepstow, right on the border between England and Wales.

In the shadow of a magnificent Norman castle that overlooks the River Wye, we’re living up to the name of our restaurant: Panevino literally translates from Italian as “bread and wine” – a phrase that represents rustic simplicity, good Italian cooking and warm hospitality.

Come dine with us and you’ll realise how the combination of authentic Italian cuisine, traditional Welsh hospitality and iconic British historical charm makes us unique and special.
